The article considers the issue of the activities of preschool children in a role-playing game aimed at developing creativity. The purpose of the study: to determine the effective psychological and pedagogical conditions for the development of creativity in preschool children in the process of role-playing game. The relevance of the study is explained by the fact that the formation of a creatively active personality, having the ability and ability to solve life problems well and non-standardly, is laid down in childhood and is a condition for the subsequent development of a person’s personality, his successful creative activity. In this regard, children's educational institutions face an important task of developing the creative potential of the younger generation. One of the directions of the mental development of the child is the development of various aspects of the personality, focused primarily on the development of creativity. The results of the study can be used to create optimal psychological and pedagogical conditions that stimulate the development of creativity in preschoolers. Psychological and pedagogical techniques have been developed and presented that stimulate and develop creativity in preschoolers in the process of a role-playing game. An algorithm has been created for psychological counseling of educators and parents on the successful development of creativity in preschoolers.
